I regret having to write such a negative review. However, Dan ultimately treated me so poorly that I feel strongly that I was scammed and robbed. Dan was very friendly on the phone and when we first met in Paris on Monday, Sept 21. We had both clearly agreed that I'd take him to dinner and we would get to know one another first, with no charge for his time. He seemed to want to be as sure of the character of the person he was meeting as I was. We both kept that agreement and he was wonderful. He's as handsome and sexy as his pictures suggest. He was charming and warm and I was hooked. We were unable to meet again for almost three weeks since we were both out of town. During this time, we kept in touch and he told me that he would be unable to stay in Paris since the rents were so high during fashion week. He said if I wanted to see him more I would need to send money to pay for an apartment for him. I told him that I was unwilling to send or even advance money, especially since doing that had led to some uncomfortable and disappointing experiences in the past. We were finally able to meet again on Saturday, October 10. He told me he'd be leaving Monday, so I was very eager to see him before he left. He didn't have a place to invite me to in Paris, so I suggested that he come out to my suburb. There were serious train disruptions that week-end, so I went to the city to meet him. I clearly told him that the disrupted transportation would be long out to my apartment, but that I would pay him a set price and that we would stay at my place at least an hour. I told him my expectations for our time together VERY clearly and he agreed. In fact, we had discussed what I was looking for a number of times, during our first meeting and subsequently on the phone. He seemed angry and inconvenienced from the moment we met in the city until we got back to my place. He only brightened up a bit when I paid him the money in advance, on his insistence, soon after we arrived. I rarely do that, but my guard was down since he had been so nice to me during our first meeting. He stayed at my place less than 30 minutes and abruptly announced he was leaving when another call came in. He had done virtually none of the things I had told him that I wanted. When I complained that this was unfair to take money from me and then to leave without having fulfilled nearly any of his promises, aside from showing up, he pushed past me and left. I followed him, arguing that this was robbery. He never threatened me physically, BUT he tried to intimidate me. I followed him to the street, more words were exchanged, and he called a cab which arrived in three minutes. I think now that he may have preplanned to do this, since he kept insisting that I give him my address when we were heading to my place initially. However, since he spoke no French, and I did, I was able to explain to the cabby that I had been robbed and that he was now fleeing the scene in the taxi. The taxi driver refused to drive him anywhere. When I asked for the number for the police and called them, Dan got out of the taxi and ran away. I'm still bewildered by his awful actions. Most of my previous experiences with escorts have been great. While I certainly have had occasional disagreements in the past, this kind of behavior has fortunately been a very rare occurrence. Dan's behavior was totally unprofessional, dishonest, frustrating, intimidating, disappointing, and unfair. I can't imagine he treats every client like this. However, I certainly wouldn't want to subject myself to even the possibility of this happening again...and I doubt most other people would either.
