MagicMike and I corresponded via text. At first he was responsive and friendly. He told me that he needed me to pay a 20% down payment, which I remitted. He said I could either pay for his Uber if I wanted him to come to me, or that he could also host. I told him I was fine with him hosting. Once I paid the 20%, he took longer and longer to respond to my texts. It took nearly an hour for him to disclose his location. He gave me details bit by bit. Once I was at his apartment, he told me to give him a minutes. I waited an additional 15 minutes. He is not the man in the pictures on his profile, so I left.
